FRITZ.Box Login

FRITZ.Box uses http://fritz.box and http://192.168.178.1 to manage and customize network setting. It is the most popular router line from AVM, widely used in Europe, especially in Germany.

How to log in to FRITZ.Box ?

1. Open your browser(Chrome,Safari,Firefox, etc.) and enter http://fritz.box or http://192.168.178.1.
2. Enter your FRITZ!Box password and click login.
3. You will be logged into the FRITZ!Box admin page

How to change FRITZ.Box WiFi Password?

1. Log in to FRITZ.Box (follow the above method).
2. In the Menu, select Wi-Fi > Security.
3. In the WPA Encryption section, WPA mode > “WPA2 + WPA3“(Recommended)
4. Enter the “Network key“.
5. Click Apply to take effect immediately.

How to change Network Name (SSID)?

1. In the Menu, select Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Network
2. Enter Name of the Wi-Fi network(SSID).
3. Click Apply to save
4. Reconnect the devices with the newly changed password.
